I already like him for the fact that he moved Reed and Moore back to their natural positions.
After last two yrs of watching our DBs "TRAIL" the receivers, never turn around for a peek....well, it got tiring watching those 3rd down conversions over and over and over again. A great DB coach was a massive get, and i am delighted we got him. But having both K and W in as asst coaches, finally means we got all 3 areas of D covered. Saleh did a fine job with LBs, but he also was DC, and he pretty much let Hadley and Z-gone call their DB and DL calls.
Hopefully this works well but if not, kyle still has in place 2 other guys who could step in if needed. Plus as you noted, he did NOT move guys around into positions they couldn't play. And that is a huge relief. No telling how badly both Zgone and Hafley hurt us by doing that.
