This was a game that the team needed badly. Even with our winning streak last year we didn't have a blowout like this. Hope this gives all of our young guys confidence.

Yup. Games like these are huge for a team. Doesn't matter how close or good your culture is. Losing over and over and over and over and over again can mess a locker room up.

Yeah, they're phoning it in for sure. Trading Mack, regardless of contract status, was a terrible mistake. Amari Cooper, as inconsistent as he's been, was another gaffe.

Yes! Winning breeds confidence, we need to beat Giants. After the bye, play Buccs in their house (that'll be a good test).
We need these wins and the bye week to heal. The real test will be up in Seattle.

Maybe we really do have a backup QB we can move for a good draft pick in a year or two ... just not the backup we thought.

Maybe. Or maybe they'd just be 3-5 right now with Mack. The roster sucked. And the defense has been below average for years. They needed a change. Would've been extremely difficult for me to let go of Mack though.

Exactly! They kinda get use to it, especially rookies. Now they have a taste of winning again with a competent QB and will be confident they can beat the Giants. Then the bye week we'll be rested and good to go at Tampa Bay... man, I ain't saying we'll beat the cawks, but I'm just sayin
