Frustrating loss. CJ looked jittery. Felt like we dialed back the play calls quite a bit and didn't give him as much room to F things up, way more conservative than in recent weeks. Same as usual. Guards suck. No Edge rush. And injuries at key positions. Just can't win in the NFL like that.

Most of us complaining, are doing so, because of the inconsistent effort
and bonehead ways the team finds to lose. FTR, I'm not on the Fire:

That game was hard to watch. My god. Hopefully the team will shut down All their walking wounded for a bit and let us get some looks at the rooks. I want to see more Pettis and James.

Pros to a lost season:

Good draft position
Chance to assess the 2nd and 3rd stringers
No reason to try to hold onto marginal veterans

Cons:

Fan base disgust
Little to no develop of the core players
Veterans worth having either want to leave or not come


Hopefully Garcon, Malcolm Smith, Ward, and maybe even Celek get traded. We only have 5 draft picks next year and we obviously need more. I am kind of scared that Staley might retire soon. That would create another huge need for this rebuild.
