With how many s**tty starting QBs are out there... with s**tty backup QBs... with s**tty 3rd string QBs. But he's Quality when he couldn't even be on a team?

Davis Webb is horrible, he's not even on a roster as a 3rd string QB. Nick Mullens looked a lot better in preseason than Webb ever has.

Lynch attempted to sign a futute hall of fame QB in his prime to fill that slot, but the QB in question decided against leaving his job behind the register at Walmart.

How do you think backups get signed as a FA almost halfway through a season? Not by being anything other than a backup.

He's simply a QB who knows Kyle's system already and security if BeatHard goes down (likely) for 10 more games. If we're down to our 3rd QB, who gives a f**k?

Exactly! My theory is Shanahan and Lynch don't want anyone with potential. They just want bums that wont ever over exceed any expectations while they continue to build this team. Hoyer last season was the perfect example of this type of mindset.

He'd probably win more games than Beathard and is way better than Davis Webb, but Shanny is counting on Beathard to keep progressing even if it doesn't mean many wins.

We'll go back to carrying just 2 QB's next year or even later this season.

Do you read what you type sometimes? So why in the hell is Beathard starting if they don't want anyone with potential? Also, Shanahan studied Savage from college all the way to his time with New Orleans, if he didn't think Savage had potential tell me why the heck did he sign him then, I mean you must know right?

You guys want Shanahan to sign Webb because he went to Cal or is a hometown kid, I mean in that case maybe he should give Kyle Boller a call. At least Boller has NFL wins......I'm kidding of course.

Mystery to me how you rebuild a team without getting anyone with potential.

Your example, Hoyer. Just checked and he doesn't appear to be with the team any more. They appear to have picked up some bum called Garoppolo. Wonder if he has any potential?
