You forgot the biggest one:

Beathard: 1-6
Jimmy G: 6-3

With the same rosters. Cant figure out how people see Beathard play and think its on par with Jimmy G.

Only explanation i can come up with is they are watching the game like this

Jimmy is 1-2 this year, CJ 0-2. And that one win felt like a loss.

The win may have felt like a loss but that one loss felt like a win and the other loss felt like a no decision so I have Jimmy at 1-1 which is .500 winning percentage and that's better than 0-2 which is .000 percent

And Garoppolo has proved he can do it and Beathard has not. Beathard is a good guy and a tough player and one day I think he will be a starter in the NFL but right now he is the back up qb and he is only playing because of an injury.

And that is it.

This is getting straight up ridiculous. Everyone can have their own opinion but I don't see how Jimmy is not a top 10 quarterback. Yes he did not do as good this year as last however he was playing the number one defense in Minnesota with injuries up the ass. At Minn!

How do people not see this? He took sacks because he did not want to throw interceptions and NOBODY was open the next game or two. It can be argued that he has the quickest release in football even quicker than Aaron Rodgers. So do you really think that if somebody was open he would not throw it? Please

But guess what a lot of other quarterbacks would do much worse even the great ones with our line and our lack of weapons. So when people are judging him I wish they would consider that.

I swear there is no context with some of you people. Aaron Rogers looks like garbage against Detroit 24 to 0 he couldn't hit s**t and he was missing Throws and getting shut out until late in the game. Against Detroit defense? Well I guess he is not as good as he used to be right? No his receivers are injured and that's a big reason. Dam. Can't people just admit this

A top 10 QB based on what!?!?!?! He hasn't proven anything! He was a back up for years and hasn't even played an entire season yet and you're calling him a top 10 QB? lol
I've never seen so many people come together to continually state the obvious about a dead end topic in my life. Mods, please rescue these forums this monotony. Do it for the people please.

If you dont see the difference between the two then you must be watching the game on the radio. Cj Beathard has no business starting in the NFL

this. / thread.

CJ is feisty and a decent backup. But he is not a starting QB.
Really? Have you seen half the starting qbs in the league? Cj's alright. But there's no controversy.

No question, Beathard can start a game, but I think people are saying Beathard is not a starter on a weekly basis. The kid is basically young Nick Foles.

I actually feel pretty good about that one win considering Detroit whooped on New England and Green Bay. It was an ugly win, but I'll take 16 of those any day over close losses.

Wow you sure showed me!

Did you know Aaron Rodgers was 0-1 last week and Josh Allen was 1-0? Allen > Rodgers. CHECK. MATE.
