Lose some we should win, win some we should lose. Injuries mount, defense can't keep the games in check for our well-above-average offense. Schedule and division is just too tough to make the playoffs. Rams win the division at around 10-6, Seattle is surprisingly right there with us near 8-8, and Arizona looks terrible to start but gets buoyed by Rosen late in the year. It is a year that will disappoint some, but overall a positive step forward from last year.

Keep in mind, my PYMWYMI is 13-3. But in Vegas i have the over, with 9ers 8.5. In other words in my heart we are 13-3, but i would never bet on that. I am using house money from last yrs over of 5.5. But i know i should never have won that had jimmyG not dropped out of the sky and into our laps when we were 0-8. So i would never bet 13-3, but that's what i think we end up with.
Only big disappointment will be if we come out of the box losing 2,3 or, God forbid, 4. If that happens, i will have proven my stupidity virtually berore anyone else , aside from the tiny handful of guys who made the same great leap.
But if we come out of the chute 4-0, then lose in GB, i think that 13-3 is very doable. Only two others i see as Ls, @SEA and @ Rams. If we muck it up, then i am double bat screwed. Have to feel better about our one eyesore, OL. Still only 1...now two OLs for backup. Hope the guy from CLEVE is more than tackling dummy. I suspect we'll know soon enough, altho i hope not for a long spell.
Losing JET....sheesh...hate to say been there done that, but CRAP...it has to stop. I don't want to say we are snakebit, but c'mon. What exactly did we do to the football gods to see this start all over again. Let's hope Shon Coleman competes for a starting legit role. That would be stellar.
Traditionally SB winner is the team with the least big time injuries. Let's hope this is the end of it. I was looking forward to seeing jet tear it up, but now, not going to happen. Not this yr anyway. Worse news we lost Khalil, but still don't know what the bears had to give up for him. Sure wish it could have been us...but I want to see the deal first.
