I have been to a few, primarily in NO, ATL, and TEN.
Most memorable game was Oct. 14, 2001, the year we unexpectedly vaulted to 12-4 and back to the playoffs. It was against the Falcons. We had started 3-1 and had barely lost to the greatest-show-on-turf Rams in week 2, but I think we all expected the Niners to drop back to Earth a bit. So, when the Falcons were up 14-0 after the first quarter, I sighed a bit and figured it was just regression to the mean in action.
Then, Garcia and TO detonated. The box score speaks for itself: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200110140atl.htm. Niners comeback to tie the game at 31 with :17 left. Then, they get a walk-off win in OT on Owens' third TD of the day. Just insanity, quite simply. I was in absolute frenzied ecstasy. That whole season featured a lot of awesome, close nail-biting wins and to this day remains one of my favorite Niner seasons in memory, alongside 1998 and 2011, 2012, and 2013.

I have been to a few Levi Stadium games, the most recent was the opening Carolina game. We lost, but I still had a pretty good time even though I was buy the area where the DJ plays. A little off topic, but this thread seemed like the appropriate place to ask the question. I drive up there and have to pay $50 for parking, which has cost more than one ticket lol. My brother in law was telling me a friend of his drives to Tasman drive parks and gets on a train. Can anyone let me know what's the best way to avoid paying $50 for parking?

Most memorable game: There were many but one that stands out because of the uniqueness. In 1979, Joe was a rookie and Steve BeBerg was the starter. DeBerg developed laryngitis and could not call signals loud enough to be heard by his teammates so they fitted a microphone into his helmet and a speaker on his back between his shoulder pads. It looked like he was smuggling a shoe box on his back. Whenever the 49ers had the ball, the diamond board had an announcement for everyone to be quiet so the team could hear Steve. Everyone did. It was eerily quiet in a place with 60,000 people. Bill Walsh, always doing something clever, had DeBerg come to the sideline after one play where they fiddled with his microphone. Joe came in and ran a bootleg to score a TD. DeBerg was less than "nimble" in the pocket so a running play by the QB was totally unexpected. The place went nuts.
The only game we walked out was during the Oakland fire where traffic and the concern over the home of a friend caused us to leave.
Tailgating at the Stick made it a special place. A friend owns Pan e Vino and did all the food prep - always awesome.
The whole deal was just quirky enough to leave memories. Elevators that quit working, lousy access, cruddy restrooms, but all that history just made it special.
The game where they faked "technical difficulties" with Deberg's mic to get Montana in was in 1980 at the Jets...they played at Shea which was in the flight path of LaGuardia and Walsh had concerns about players being able to hear Deberg, so they devised the contraption he wore. That was the first game I recall them using it, and think he did for another few games.

I was able to attend a lot of games as my father had season tickets to candlestick for many years. I think the games that stand out to me was the 98' wildcard game vs GB aka "the catch 2". The 2002 wild card game vs NY and the 2011 Divisional round vs NO. Honestly I think the loudest game I ever heard was when we had the stand vs the eagles in 2001 I believe. We stopped them on the one yard line for like 7 plays it was unreal.
The game I walked out on was last years home opener actually it was just horrendous and the ex was sick so I had to leave.

with regards to the tailgating at candlestick, the reason it was so damn memorable was because everyone tailgated together. I have some insane pictures of candlestick and all the tailgating taken from the southwest parking lot. The state park along the water. There was just this steady roar of partying and bar b q smoke. Is there something comperable at Levi? I know there is some tailgaiting but to someone who has only been to a couple free games at levi, it doesn't seem anywhere near what use to occur at the parking lots surrounding candlestick.
Another memorable game for me was the monday night game against denver when Joe Montana had his retirement ceremony. I still have the beautiful programs they handed out to the crowd.

Best game was the only game I went to at Candlestick. Lifelong fan but have only lived in the area for a few years. Niners Packers playoffs when Kap ran wild. Game was incredible.
Been to many games at Levi's but clearly nothing comes close because how bad we've been. Hoping for some great memories this year and mostly big, loud crowds again.

Lived on the East Coast until 4 years ago but still made it out every chance I got.
Since 2001...
Regular Season games: 14
Playoff games: 2
Super-Bowl: 1
Best Game: 2011 NFC Divisional Game vs the Saints (Catch 3). Unbelievable. To quote Waterbear, it was the loudest game I've ever been to. Absolutely electric.
Runner Up: 2012 NFC Championship game in Atlanta
Worst Game: SB loss to the Ravens. Indescribable how rough that one was.
I've only walked out on one game, I think, the opening day loss to Carolina last year.
