Top 5 guys I'm keeping my eye on for this game

OT Mike McGlinchey - Hopefully can settle in and hold his own. We need him ready for week 1.
RB Joe Williams - See how he has progressed into year 2. Can he be a factor for us on offense?
WR Dante Pettis- Would love to see him make some plays in this game. Also show his punt return ability.
DL Julian Taylor - Getting good reviews at camp. Will it translate to a game?
LB Fred Warner - With Foster out for the first two weeks, can Warner begin to make a case to start beside Malcolm Smith?

A series or two would be my guess. Beathard finish out the half and Mullens finish the game

Yeah that sounds money

For young players, that a great list.

Dallas is starting to build a nice defense, so I'd like to see the starting unit run the ball well against them. Also, I'll be watching all the pass rushers very closely.

Looking forward to the world premiere of CJ 2.0.

Also looking forward to seeing Pettis and how the other rookies perform. I would also like to see JG show he's worth $130,000,000+, but he's only going to play one series at the most, so that likely won't happen this week.
JG doesn't need to show anything in the preseason. CJ on the other hand needs to stop throwing INTs

CJ can't help himself throwing all those INTs, at least we know he can take sacks while sporting his porno mustache.
you guys pooping on cj better hope he is better than last year cuz i do not trust the current state of our offensive line to allow jimmy to last a full season. maybe things will change but at this point in time. we are not fixed up front in my opinion

This!

OL is still my biggest concern.

Agree - Attachu & company need to impress to allay any concerns

LOL at angry Tony Romo on the right, he joined the better broadcaster than player club though

Tony Romo is almost criminally underrated by the masses. I know that might be taboo to say around these parts because he is a Cowboy, but he was a very good QB.

Now, I do believe he is also a very good broadcaster, but he till annoys me at times.
Can't wait for some 49er Football again!! I don't expect many of the starters to play much, if at all, but it's a great chance to see some of the young guys.

This.

I know he didn't do well in meaningful games and at times choked at the worst possible moments, but he was a great QB. His lack of Playoff success will overshadow his legacy and that's what he will be remembered for, but man, he could make some throws.

A lot of people wanting to trade for Mack. If any trade is made, I hope it's for a quality guard. Hopefully, a semi-decent one will get cut at the final roster slashes.
Do preseason cuts work the same as waiver wire as far as team rankings from the previous year or is it a free for all like UDFA's?

Good list. I agree with all of this, but also looking forward to the rookie DBs
