Yeah he makes it, but in order to return you have to be on 53 man roster Saturday at 4PM ET and then Sunday placed on IR, also a player would be cut, like Person or Morris, and re-signed Sunday as they don't go through waivers, we did with with Paulsen last yr.

Yeah, it's a silly rule that affects rosters for 24 hours.

AB81 explained this a while back. Morris and Person are vested veterans and not subject to waivers. This will temporarily twiddle the roster to open up two roster spots for the 2 guys going on "IR and eligible to return during the season" who must be on the initial 53. Then, a day later, untwiddle the roster, send those 2 guys to IR, bring back Morris and Person. Clear as mud.

Decisions are not made solely on what happens in preseason games. None of us are on the practice field or in the meeting rooms with these guys.
