Taylor to NE?
Some more sweet clips and breakdowns

Sounds like James looked like he was on roller skates today. Created separation at will today. He's going to be a mismatch nightmare for linebackers. Shanahan is going to line this guy up all over the field. There's going to be real competition to make this team at he WR position. JG has a lot of toys at his disposal.
James was my draft crush and I'm excited to see him play. I think if they keep 6 WRs he stays. I look forward to the camp battles
If James is the better slot WR than Taylor, then it shouldn't be hard to find a taker for Taylor. Pettis will probably see some time in the slot as well. Doubt Taylor gets moved, but we might be able to net a 4th or 5th for him, and if Taylor is sliding down the depth chart during pre season games, then that might be the time to move him.
If and until Taylor would get traded, what a nice luxury Coach has to have James, too. Love this kid's attitude...he's determined to show the mistake the 31 other teams made not drafting him.

Wow you would trade him? Wouldn't you just keep him for insurance. NE has rolled out several short receivers in Danny and Jillian Eldemen

I'm rootin for this kid! I think he can easily replace Trent and give us another added dimension to an already potent offense
Taylor being underestimated by this board. He's proven himself, and has great chemistry with Jimmy G. James is not the better slot wr over Taylor till he proves it. Ridiculous to already be talking trading Taylor.

Not to mention he was Jimmy's safety blanket on third down. When the 49ers needed a first, they turned to and relied heavily on Taylor who was converting third downs left and right

Taylor is good. He's a great slot receiver. Buts that's it tho, he's just a great slot. James has the potential to do that plus more.

The dude is a straight baller if he's healthy

I love Trent... But say if you can move him for a pass rusher?

4th or 5th? Dude was a 5th and showed he can play and catch everything. His value is higher than that ESPECIALLY making peanuts, literally, for the next 3 years.

Funny thing is Denver can use a slot, but I'm not trading Trent for Ray/barrett imo. NE could use him cause they like having 2 slots, but I dunno. They really don't have pass rushers.

And it's not all about James, it's the addition of Pettis and Bourne being a good up the middle/slant guy.

Agreed. Taylor was good for us. Team loves him. And dirty cheap contract. No need to try to move on from him.

You're completely over valueing Trent lol. He's a good player for our scheme and a few other schemes. But what kinda pass rusher you think you're getting for him? Definitely not Ray. Would be a terrible trade for them. And they have Sanders in the slot killin it when he's healthy.
