This kid will be such a valuable, versatile backup. Corner, nickel corner, free safety. He's basically what Jimmie Ward was supposed to be

Knowing his background makes a lot of sense. It reinforced the way he play on the field. Lesser in stature for the position, but overachieved, plays bigger. Some guys just play totally different than they look. Reed seems to be one.

Sadly, he probably wont even get a shot because of the two wasted roster spots occupied by Sherman and Ward.
