J.Ward injury was a blessing in disguise because this guy looked solid.
It hurts seeing Malik Hooker have a big game but if Moore can build upon this game and get better, we should have a fine starter.
It is a good start but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

For clarity, this is only a discussion about a hypothetical race between Marquise and Tarvarius.

Marquise just smoked everyone at the 40-yards of gold race, which included many of the fastest guys in the league. It's safe to say he's still got elite speed.

And it's not a .05 difference. The general rule of thumb is that there's around tenth of a second discrepancy between hand-timed 40s and combine laser-timed 40s. The reason being human error and reaction time for the former. Tarvarius Moore is likely a ~4.4 guy at the combine.

So you think Moore could be any were from a 4.23 to a 4.43? Or are you just defaulting to the worst possible scenario?

I still don't think it matters either way. The 40 time is a lazy way to sort fast and slow guys. The NFL is littered with 4.6+ guys who out run everyone on a regular basis.
It's a drill that literally exists to confirm a bias and has nothing to do football.

Every thing changes when you take off your shorts and track shoes and put on pads and cleats. Look at how many times a year we watch people run down or run away from players with better 40s....
Moore's near miss INT was even more amazing because we blew a coverage on the play. It was a pattern matching man-coverage and Greenlaw didn't match correctly. TB had their receiver wide open and Moore was in a robber role. Nearly robbed a TD the other way.

One of the two pick 6's we dropped. We played elite defense week 1 and can still improve.

I think that play won the game for us.

Big play on 4th down but he needs to wrap the fuk up. Thought he was sloppy in his tackling but need to rewatch.

It was sloppy as hell
The best part of Moore's play was that Kyle enjoyed watching him.

Jimmie Ward

at least he didn't get hurt and have to be put on IR like numb nuts always ends of doing

It pretty much did. He is a good natural fs and saved the td. So glad we are playing players at their natural position. Now Solomon better stay inside. I don't care seeing him rush from the edge. Not 1 f**king bit

Jimmie has numb nuts now too? Damn, guy can't catch a break health-wise
When Moore adds around 10 lbs of muscle WATCH OUT!!
💪😎👍

Yep. If he would've caught it its an easy pick six w a head start going the other way.
