Moore should be competing with Colbert for the FS job, not shoved down the depth chart wasting away at a position he's not best suited to play.

Let Verrett and Sherman start with Witherspoon being a primary backup since he's played both sides. Tim Harris has lots of experience at RCB. I'd say if they continue to force Moore to play CB, our depth chart is as follows:

LCB - Sherman, Witherspoon, Mabin
RCB - Verrett, Witherspoon, Moore, Harris
SLCB - Williams, Reed, Moseley

totally agree...he's got the size and range to be a good single-high FS. He's a good tackler as well.

Played 2 years at a community college.
Then for S. Miss. Started his Sr year. Lead the team in tackles and INT.
Wasn't invited to the nfl combine.
Ran a 4.32 at the teams pro day.

Moore was projected to be a third round pick by NFL draft experts and scouts. He was ranked as the fourth best free safety prospect in the draft by DraftScout.com and was ranked the tenth best cornerback in the draft by Scouts Inc

Couple red flags. Stock def jumped because of speed.

There are a lot of super fast guys who just don't get it and never pan out. It's his 2nd year. Maybe he gets it, maybe he doesn't?

If Verrett stays healthy it would be huge. Probably the most important player on defense. It would allow us to try Moore back there.
