ehh nm. I thought it was really smart that he didn't fall for the vertical stretch but the game situation was 5 minutes left Rams down by 13. There was no need for him to be threatened by the low read. Smart play but not crazy high IQ type of play considering the score and time.

IMO, this is a marquee play.
He does something I think EVERY defensive back needs to do--GRABS the stiff arm, goes arm to leg for the takedown.
Very heady, even though it should be commonplace.
