How are these "two different things". One guy McGlinchey is the far and away best rated rookie OL this year. The guy at #4 just won rookie of the month, the first time a OG has ever won the award. Sure PFF is just one rating system but no one else is rating individual OL play.

I thought the NFL used the PFF point scale? McG has nearly 14 more rating points than Nelson.

I agree that it's skewed, those awards are a bit of a popularity contest. I watched Colts Vs Raiders though and Nelson was special. It's easier to be spotted when you're mauling folks.

I'm happy with McGlinchey and I'm sure the Colts are happy with Nelson.
