Well, that was uneventful.
The #Jets are expected to sign former Mississippi State safety Brandon Bryant, source said. Bryant wasn't selected in NFL supplemental draft, but ran a 4.4-range 40 at pro day, could contribute immediately on special teams.

I'm glad we didn't snag anyone, we have enough camp fodder and PS candidates.
Imagine, we passed on an edge rusher... Shanny/Lynch believed noone in the [real draft] could be better (right away) than the guys we have now

Just my opinion, but I think neither Kyle or John have that knack of spotting that elite edge rusher talent (yet). At least after one year, they haven't shown it to me. Maybe Attaochu is the guy, but my point is that - there's a level of coaching talent that can spot diamonds in the rough. As an example, Walsh was facing a weak quarter back draft in '79 with only Phil Simms as a legit first round pick and the 49ers had no way of picking him because they traded their #1 pick away in the previous admin, but Walsh was able to get a QB diamond in the rough in the third round that year. I hope Saleh or maybe Chris Kiffen can develop that kind of coaching talent eye soon.
