He was the best 49ers coach in history after Walsh & Seifert IMHO

He was a cheerleader that got a team full of almost all 1-3 round picks and pointed at a football and said go. Brought a great coaching tree with him... but after the first 2 years professional athletes remembered they get paid millions more than their coach and started laughing in his face. AKA go back to college. Happened to Saban and Meyer too... some styles dont mix when players get paid X times more than their coach.

Agree that he's a good, and I have no doubt a lot of teams are looking at him, especially now that John's contract has been renewed. 49er front office personnel and coaches are coveted throughout the NFL by bottom feeding teams. He'll have a big poaching target on his back this next year, especially if 49ers win it all.

Harbs was done. His gimmick RPO offense wasn't going to win anymore games in the nfl. That was a fine decision. We didnt have anyone to hire because shanny had two more years on his contract.
