Yeah I'm sure they'd all play horrible in SF lol I'm sure they'd have more INTs then TDs and avg 150 yards in the playoffs.

Id still take all 4 over Jimmy today!

You also predicted the Packers would score 38.

Credibility is lacking at the moment.

I love it when people compare QBs by looking at the records between the teams when they faced each other. I never realized that they went head to head in a cage match.

Jeff Feagles is like top 10 in All-Time wins and still not in the HOF yet. WTF gives??

It's like they're actually judging the damn guy on the quality of what they see with their eyes on the field instead of win/loss totals.

My eyes care about winning.

lol it was simply a return serve on the sarcasm.

I can verbally explain my point. Why allow a point to be dragged out for so many pages without 1 legit retort?

And there is no legit retort, because nitpicking or not, what I'm saying is 100% true. (Look @ the gifs)

So why does this continue on?

Then why did we spend 3 1sts on a new QB? If Jimmy was the true reason why he wins like 75% of his games wouldn't you sit tight even with the injury risks? Maybe you draft a QB in the second or late first, but you don't go and trade up to 3rd overall for a QB if you believe it's Jimmy orchestrating those wins.

I agree. Either get 1 poster to verbally explain anything false I've said about it (which is impossible with the video provided), or ask others to move on and stop rehashing it. Smilies and needless requotes can't redirect what's true and what's not.

So why does this continue on?

Because the human torso is capable of twisting, and the human shoulder is a ball/socket joint that is capable of a tremendous range of motion. Also, humans, when running, are able to alter their running path. So Kittle, while not the most agile human who has ever lived, could easily have utilized any of those tools available to all humans, to catch that very well thrown ball (notice I didn't say perfect). Instead, he did what any and all WR coaches tell you not to do - which is let the ball get into his body. The result (ball bouncing off his chest) is exactly why.

Is that a "legit retort?" Do we really need to keep rehashing this when literally every poster in this thread disagrees with you? Hell even a few Jimmy haters have told you that your argument regarding this throw is ridiculous. Give it a rest.

Let's see if Feagles finally gets his Gold Jacket this year then. But clearly, the most respected minds in football consider (not care about) alot more.

Not allowed to...you either have to slobber down Jimmy's junk or your not a good enough fan and should be burned at the stake.

Yes I would love 4QRs of good Jimmy!

I have a solution for this.

How many of the members who feel Jimmy is being "hated" on want all the *haters* to leave this thread?

Then Jonny can have a daily sermon on the importance of Jimmy G in here with no disturbance.

I'll be down.

Mods, don't you dare get in the way. This is a legit solution.

We'll have an alternate thread called Jimmy G "hater" thread.

I swear I'll have more productive discussions regarding our starting QB in that thread. I'm for it.

Why am i getting brought up when i havent posted hardly anything today? How is this not a personal attack?

Genuinely curious.

Yet you call me a, "bully". Smh....

I'm not even to halftime and Rodgers has had some doozies. I'm not bashing Rodgers. Saying, playing QB is hard. Especially when you're dealing with a tough pass rush and a defense disguising their coverage.

Rodgers had a bad game. On that deep pass to Adams he had Lazard wide open. nothing wrong with bashing a guy for playing bad

He had two players wide open and he chose the wrong one. Thankfully lol
was it a bad game or just doing what he did all season

I don't know. I'm usually watching 49ers games, so I don't watch much packers games, other than prime time games here and there, to know if Rodgers is doing it.

Eitherway, when it was crunch time he failed to see two wide open WRs to win the game for packers. That's all that matters to me lol

I think I've seen 6 Packer games this year. Rodgers doesn't miss often and when he does, he has been able to make up for it later. Yesterday he wasn't able to do it. He admitted after the game that going for the 50/50 ball to Adams was a mistake. He should have taken the deep in to Lazard for the first down. That one miss cost him and the Packers, the game.

Also, Davante Adams has made some ridiculous catches on some passes that were not laid right in his lap. It happens. It is why he is the best WR in the game. It is also a significant part of why Rodgers is the likely MVP this year.

Not necessarily, because when the pass catcher turns around, where the ball is placed determines the time the has to do all of that twisting stuff you mentioned.

If it's hot on his body the moment he turns around,...Kittle (for example) cant freeze time and do the twisting you're mentioning, then unfreeze time and make the easy grab.

The more you lead the pass catcher (while keeping it catchable), the more time you give his body to react.

You see how that just came full circle?

Like I said, I'm thankful he missed the two wide open receivers. I'm not really interested in what he has done against teams that are not he Niners. I was just answering what appeared to be a question from 49ATT.

Tim K. sums Jimmy up pretty well here. Jimmy is a limited, but tough QB that fits in well with Kyle's current offense and the culture of the team.

Of course there are people arguing in the replies that he can make every throw that Allen and Mahomes can.

I agree with allen, One of those TD's was on a line going for what felt like 40 yards. Allen however on the other hand is one of the worst YAC QB's in the league you can look it up...maybe it's because he's always late on plays but makes up for it with that cannon. Mahomes however won that game on passes Jimmy makes regularly 10-15 yards down the middle of the field relying on Yac. Mahomes is special but he also gets a ton of YAC like our Jimmy.

Kawakami is of course completely wrong.

2019 Saints game 3 SF scoring drives in the final 9 mins.
Final line for JG
26-35-349-4-1
48 points

compare to Mahomes
33-44-378-3-0
42 points

or Allen
27-37-329-4-0
36 points

Saying he can never do it. He already did.

Aren't you the one assuming he's purely referring to yards and points? And isn't it also saying something that the game you're using to refute his point was a regular season game from over 2 years ago?
