Thw bashing seriously needs to stop. We get it. He's not Allen or mahommes. But he's a damn fighter.

Why can't everyone acknowledge

1. Jimmy is a great leader and is loved by his teammates. He's a presence that helps the entire team with their poise and resiliency.
2. He isnt the most talented qb.
3. He doesn't play great consistently, but plays great when he needs to and is able to produce when the game is on the line
4. His injury is likely hampering him and has not been playing great during the playoffs
5. The offensive line has not helped him.
6. He has made multiple mental errors that scare everyone.
7. He is part of the reason the team is in the championship game, along with the other 51 teammates.
8. He was more clutch than Rodgers in the cold, with an injury, with a right tackle who was constantly getting smashed.

No 49er fan is mad that we are in the NFCCG. NOT ONE!

So you're saying the Jimmy haters aren't actually Niners fans? That's a bit harsh but you may be right.

Jimmy with 131 yards passing. How many yards did he have in the first half?

Finished strong!

Nah…lol You said that was too small of a sample size and now it's relevant?

Great ball placement here - about the only place to put it to give Kittle a chance. And what a catch by Kittle!

great throw great catch

Absolutely!

Internet Sleuths are trying to determine what JG did wrong on this play....

Nah solid safe throw and a amazing catch by Kittle

Good thing he didn't hit Kittle in the shoulder pads, that would have made it such a tougher catch.

Thank you. Enough of these erratic passes behind the direction the guy's going.
Get it on his chest or out in front of him like the legit QBs do. (See the gifs )

Then again,...I've been saying enough for a couple years now. We might as well draft a QB as a replacement.

You mean like the pass to Kittle that hit him just above the 5 on his jersey which is located right on his chest? lol

It touched his shoulder pad, so Jimmy is 50% responsible. But Kittle is 150% responsible for the drop. 200% is the total for any thrown pass and catch/drop.

Tim K. sums Jimmy up pretty well here. Jimmy is a limited, but tough QB that fits in well with Kyle's current offense and the culture of the team.

Of course there are people arguing in the replies that he can make every throw that Allen and Mahomes can.

Pretty much. Fits, yes. But he saw the writing on the wall with guys like Burrow, Mahomes, and Allen developing and the Rams upgrading their QB spot and knew what he had to do.

I know we have a cheering section here that completely disregards what they see,...but when we actually watch the games, this weekend told us alot.

No. I didn't say that. I was saying that every 49er is happy we are in the NFCCG regardless of who we like or dislike on this team.

That's ok, he came through with 2 key completions to Kittle and Deebo on the winning field goal drive.

Faithful also said his career 4th quarter stats was too small of a sample size… now it's relevant because he threw for 54 and 0 touchdowns yards lol.

Lets just have an honest conversation about Jimmy's play. That's all I ask. Enough with the extreme takes on both sides.
2 more wins baby

It was funny. Annoying, but funny.

Haha. Again,...high on the trailing shoulder pad isin't the easiest catch with the guy running the other way.

Legit QBs placement on these passes:

What we've been forced to call throws like this a "PERFECT PASS" by the herd due to how erratic our QB position has been for years:

Kittle should've caught it.

Jimmy should've placed it better.

Don't like the truth??
