Easily the best game of his career so far

His breakup on the deep ball was his best highlight imo. Granted a deep shot was expected at that point in the game, but he still did his job beautifully. Good game for him today

Yeah only other time I remember seeing him stand out he was step for step w the receiver on a deep sideline play. Beautiful coverage.
That was against evans (TOP 5 WR) in my book.

To be fair to Evans, he was recovering from the flu, but even so, I thought that matchup would be much worse for us. Spoon was as good as could be hoped for.

To see him turn his head and track that deep ball was beautiful. I remember all the times the dbs never got their heads around.

He looked great but I want to see this against a healthy Evans. Dude was getting over a sickness

A better secondary coach, along with a pass rush, certainly contributed. However, he made plays when called on.
Let me go back to better coaching...

All about the pass rush. Spoon is a good player but nobody's good when you have zero rush. Especially in today's NFL. He was aggressive even on some balls he missed. That could be coaching or a different mind set.
