I don't think it has anything to do with a lightbulb. It's not like he's a 300 lb speedster that is mentally taking plays off. He's a tweener. Sadly he doesn't have enough foot speed or technique to be an outside rusher and he's too small to be an every down interior lineman. At best he'll be a decent rotational backup in this league. Nothing more...nothing less.
Pettis is a better example of your lightbulb theory. He's a kid that has all the skills. He needs to decide if he has the mental fortitude and strength to succeed.
"Too small to be an every down interior lineman."
If it's about size, (hint: It's not), why not just have him hit the buffet and put on 30 pounds of fat? Why not get go out and sign sumo wrestlers to play DT?
The reason Thomas isn't 300 pounds is there isn't an ounce of fat on him. He's pure muscle. That's the difference between he and someone like Dana Stubblefield.
And the difference between he and Buckner/Armstead is he's much shorter. He has a higher BMI than either of them. Nobody used to think having power forward height was an asset on the interior of a line, yet here we are...
You got a dog in this fight?
I don't get it if you don't....
You've stated your opinion over and over and over and over, and it doesn't change the fact that it's an OPINION.
He hasn't done s**t to warrant his #3 pick.
Won't be the 1st and won't be the last.
Is it on him, or the coaching or some of both.
No one knows the answer to that especially you.
So what response are you looking for here?
He's awesome?
He got f**ked over by coaching playing him in the wrong position?
I mean, what's your goal repeating the same s**t for pages upon pages? You join 10 DAYS ago just to pound the table for him? Why?
LOL
