Malcolm Smith??? Why??? For depth??? Didn't he grade out as crap last year? I hope LynchMob isn't spending money just to spend it. I just hope it's not a lot of money. I will reserve judgement until I see the numbers. I believe he is also a coverage liability. Someone please post his last 3 years grades so I can like this move. Don't understand the Goodwin (he's small with a lot of injuries you can't depend on him) or Smith pick up. Love the other additions. Good start to FA.

YES!!!!!!!

This Is the Webzone I remember.

I'm concerned too. Especially since his salary is coming out of my pocket goddamit!

He's better than bellore I'll take it

f**k that picture
Great depth but average at best as starter. He might open the year as starter. Knows the new scheme better than anyone currently on the team. Could have a rookie pushing him though as the season goes on

Yeah I agree, I'm hoping that rookie is Elijah Lee from K-state

Gonna compete at WLB/SAM... when he was in the system he played good for SEA. At the end of the day we all know it starts up front. La Confora reported we're interested in Poe, if we sign him oh boy....
Yes, the guy who lost us the 2013-14 NFCCG. Is this the first ex-Cheat Carroll Seacawk to become a Niner? He's a Superbowl MVP so championship.
Worst signing of the day

We needed more speed at LB. I like the pickup.
Ideal weak side backer. Love the signing.

Yes...
MLB: Navarro Bowman-complete LB when healthy.

SAM: Ray Armstrong- good cover LB

WILL: Malcolm Smith- good run support

Better than what we had last season in Bellore and Wiffhoite

That's not accurate.

Smith will be competing with Armstrong at Will.

Ray ray isn't a Sam in this system he is to small. The Sam needs to be able to play up on the line of scrimmage like a 3-4 linebacker, think Bruce Irvin. Harold might be the best fit we have for this spot due to the fact that he is fast, can set the edge, and isnsolid in coverage.
