Enjoyed this LINK from Guy Haberman's channel where he and Nick Wagoner and Matt Barrows discuss Saleh at the beginning of the video. Basically they all agree Saleh is gone after this year. Some points, the coaches available this cycle aren't deep. Next, Saleh has proven what he can do even with this mix mach on defense, and he wants to be at the top of his game and prove he can win there, he evens says that in his interview today. Love Matt Barrows' tongue and check, that you hire Saleh, he hires Klay Kubiak from the Niners and then they trade for Matt Jones. Then the QB is fixed until you draft and develop a QB . . . Kubiak runs the offense and Saleh the defense and bam, that is 10 wins a year.

What team is Saleh leaving for, though? Highly doubt he'd want to go to Tennessee or back to New York…

Whe Kyle first came here, I was hoping for Bradley. Now he is here and I think he's the development plan for Kyle. If Saleh leaves, there is a system guy who knows the players and expectations that's ready to step in.
We are in good hands but having both is awesome and I hope he lasts longer than just this year. Unlikely, but I can hope. lol
Still think I would prefer Jim Schwartz.

Speaking of Jim Schwartz, wonder what him and Kyle were talking about for so long when they shook hands.... maybe come replace Saleh??

Schwartz would be a dream, but I'm not sure he'd make a lateral move at this point in his career.

depends of what jobs are open.
Miami is one I could see him take if it opens up.

Has Schwartz even gotten HC interviews? Feels like he got fired from Detroit in like 2013 (his only HC stint) and then was done with head coaching after that.
Why can't Saleh just do the same?

Miami might be one of the worst situations in the NFL. All their stars are either old or unmotivated, and Tua's contract might be the biggest albatross in the NFL other than DeShaun Watson.

I also doubt he goes to a team like Miami. Personally I don't see him going anywhere next year. It would be dumb for him to take a job with a team that has to go through a rebuild, and if any good job opens up, I think that team would want a HC that's more proven or someone that's up and coming with an offensive mind (that seems to be the trend right now)

Not just that but he got to experience what dealing with bad ownership is like. Miami, Arizona, Cincy. All the same issues.
The only worrisome spot is Pittsburgh if it opens.. You can't say no to that job.

Great now I'll be a semi Steelers fan like the Texans (Ryans). Lol two great 9er coordinators.

I don't know. It would get him out of Cleveland. There is also the notion that some coordinators are just better as coordinators. Saleh says the thing he hated most about coaching the Jets was all of the stuff that didn't have to do with coaching, which is a part of the job that isn't likely to change. If I'm an owner and I see that quote it would be sort of a red flag to me.

Same, he's been my DC crush for several years.
