They passed twice and no real time came off the clock. Tired defense and they had 5 minutes left to score two scores instead of 2 or 3 minutes. It's a big difference

Shanny ran the clock out instead of scoring end of the 1st half

Shanny tried to "get first downs" instead of running the clock end of the 2nd half.

Swap those two situations and we win handidly

Man as much as you humble me in the Tevin Colemam thread, I thought you would know this. You're very knowledgeable about football but I can't agree with you on that one. Odds of picking up a first on that drive are high. Even if they dont, 3 minutes on the clock basically gives you at most 4 plays before two minute warning. If they haven't scored by then the game is over. They have to start using timeouts and they have to move faster. Make them use as much time as you can if they can score

Baldy's breakdown of our offense yesterday vindicates Shanny in my opinion. I still believe he made mistakes and could/should have run the ball more. But the plays were there when he called them. Our players (looking at you Jimmy), simply need to execute.

When you hear coaches say the phrase "we need to execute better," this is exactly what they're talking about. The table was set; Jimmy didn't execute.

It's really not hard to get yet people for whatever reason can't get this

I'm sorry if I'm coming off as a dick not my intention. You can plainly see that they're crash in on the run. They're selling out and allowing Jimmy to throw the ball. Guys are open and he simply can't covert. It's not hard stuff.

It's possible for Shanahan. Because he keeps doing it.

He claimed to have learned from the ATL vs. NE Super Bowl debacle, but his actions say differently.

I still can't believe he didn't call a timeout with 1:30 in the second quarter and was OK with going into the half at 10-10. I've never seen a team concede the half with 1:30 on the clock about to receive the ball.

Meanwhile, Reid goes for it twice on 4th down. Win/Losses can come down to coaching decisions. This was a read real head scratcher.
