I am so tired of the constant reaching. We drafted the 15th ranked running back as the 3rd running back off the board.
The hell does trading back to acquire more picks matter if we are going to draft players multiple rounds earlier than they are projected to go?
And save the whole "go get the guys you want" argument. Its infuriating.

See if Kyle is making the calls I'm not sure it's on the scouts.
There is no way the entire 9ers scouting department thought Black was the best guy on the board. Just no way. We've now seen it 3 times that a rb was taken late 3rd. Kyle just doesn't have the eye for the position in the draft. Need a guy that he respects that will tell him no that's not the way to go.
Been a decade now of drafting and it's clear what the mistakes are. Jed has to really evaluate this after the season.
LOL!! He's incapable. Surely you realize that Jed IS the problem.

We've drafted 6 RB (spent wayyyy more draft capital) and none of the RBs we've taken have amounted to s**t.
The most career rushing yards out of any of them is sermon with like 500!
they've had vastly more success with UDFAs. Yet they keep throwing picks in the trash with this position.
Bobby turner needs to be put out to pasture or some s**t.
I'm putting this on Kyle man. This was a historically bad RB draft and we drafted one in the 3rd with massive holes on our roster. Kyle's still a great coach but he needs to be removed from any personnel decision making.

Kyle has delivered with his coaching. If we could get someone who understood value of positions and players this team would be so hard to stop.
You think Lynch is making these draft decisions? This is Kyle based on the feedback from the scouts and coaching staff.
They draft a backup RB every year because it's a cheap way to keep the cap cost low at the position behind CMC.
They don't value OL coming out of college much and would rather bring in journeyman vets. This isn't changing until the OL coach changes.
We know this. Expecting anything different is just setting yourself up for disappointment.
Dumb argument, just use UDFA at RB
I'm not saying I agree with the process. I was simply explaining that if you see the same thing over and over, why be surprised when it happens again?
At some point he should learn to stop f**king up or just accept this team won't get a ring

Was mentioned by someone else earlier, but it's hard not to be numb to it as this point. Hopefully the players actually contribute and lessen the impact of us robbing ourselves of value.

I'd like to take a moment and talk about how a recent addition to the Niners FO; Kwesi Adofo-Mensah.
His track record in Cleveland and Minnesota speaks for itself. Talk to Vikings fans and they'll clear up any doubts. On top of incompetence, he was fired by Minnesota for taking a two week paternity leave during training camp. We're not talking about a player or a mother. We're talking about a guy in his 40s not giving a s**t about his team.
So, a FO with years of draft ineptitude decided to compound that by adding someone who's the opposite as what they supposedly want from players (live, breathe football).
Keep Kyle. Fire Lynch. Clear out this f**king dysfunctional FO and bring in a competent GM and team to lead every draft and contractual decision.

This part is why it won't happen. The guy who handles this is going nowhere. Hard to land a true GM when you don't want him to handle GM responsibilities outside of personnel.
Jed has never hired a top quality GM candidate from outside the organization.

I've always defended them and always understood I didn't know nearly as much but damn it seems like we always reach big time then randomly pull our heads out of our asses rounds 5-7

Same man, just don't get it. Atleast Mike Washington would have gave us a little excitement instead of the 15th ranked rb

Agreed, they really lost me on this particular pick.
