Some fans say that they want the 9ers to win every Sunday, no matter what. But in the current situation, if we lose the next two games, we get the number one pick. How do you guys feel???
Let's go 9ers! Keep losing!!!!!!

No. Losing sucks, but I came to terms with the reality of the season, and the state of the team's roster many weeks ago. We need to rebuild the roster and gaining pyrrhic victories now hurts us in the long-term with regards to the rebuilding effort. With the Browns winning today we currently have the top pick. I'm okay with that as the only silver lining in this dark season.

I wouldn't worry about that.

No. So Jed will be crying in his sleep while this s**tty team is under his watch. Dismantle the front office and coaching staff and hopefully bring in an experienced and competent man to lead this team or he will be the laughing stock like the Browns for a long time.

Yes, but securing the first round pick in the NFL draft is only half the battle. The second part is using that pick wisely. And do you trust Trent Baalke or anyone else currently in the organization to do that?

At this point the only difference between. 1-15 and 3-13 is draft position. No wins will make 3-13 seems anything but terrible, so might as well lock up the higher picks.

I would rather win against the Seahawks then gain a draft position
Nothing is better then beating the Seahawks

As a player, you work your ass off every week, get beat up physically, and the only thing that makes it worth it is winning. Did you see how happy the players were the the game ended? It meant a hell of a lot to them. They work for that. We just tune in and watch. I'm happy for the players and coaches for finally getting it right. Good on them. Go Niners!

Rooting for a loss is pretty f**ked, I'm at the point where I don't care if we lose but to actively root for tanking games is stupid. Did you see how the Browns celebrated? Dancing and crying, this "meaningless" game actually means a s**t load to the players and coaches on the field. We had one win but we had not won since week 1, so our losing streak was nearly as long as theirs. It means a lot to a bunch of people who are far more invested with this team than we are.
For those reasons, I won't b***h about winning a game, out of respect for the individuals who are busting their asses to win. Would I have liked the first pick? Certainly, but I'm not going to root against players who are actually trying.
