I'd rather our QB be developed by a guy who played the game but whoever we use, he needs to be good and needs to be here for a while. If it's Chip then I don't want to see him canned in a year.

All QB's are a question mark, ALL of them. Even high draft picks. How many actually work out. It's rare no matter where they are taken. If the team around them sucks like most high draft picks they will pretty much suck as well and be damaged goods. There is nobody in this draft that I would consider a 1rst round QB . Maybe late 2nd rounder at best.
