Solid player. He will do just fine replacing Armstead but he has his own durability issues

Nice call. He's a good player but he has his own durability issues.

I have always like Ronald Blair. Solid football player. Always has been productive when he has been on the field but he has had durability issues as well

He's going to help us forget AA.
Wonder why they gave Taylor the reps in front of Blair?
They know what they got in Blair, they want to see what the rookie has when he isn't playing with the scrubs
That would be my guess too.
Makes sense to me. Hope he's this years 7th round gem

but but but he is a Baalke guy
It's one of the blind squirrel finds a nut if he keeps at it long enough kind of choice by Baalke.
I like Blair, he's plenty quick and plenty strong. I wish we had more than one of him. In my eyes, Day and Julian look like carbon copies of Blair.

All three are very different players--different body types, sizes, athletes, and skillsets.

Agreed. Day seems best suited inside at 3T and even play some NT. Taylor seems best suited as a Big End and Blair, best suited for nickel as a strong side DE. I'm not sure if he's strong enough to be a 3-down player.

One thing for sure, we'll have a hell of a rotation.
