Ok, i see it, have seen it, and wondered why he didn't make the tackle. He busts thru the OL and gets near the QB and ball and frequently changes the direction of the QB. We all know he's been paid, and no one will request a trade for him. I still have the hope that he will somehow "get it" and while busting thru the OL and one of those times grab a QB. Then maybe, he does it again. Based on past that probably won't happen, but it could. And since he is paid already, and can bust the OL, might as well keep him around...but as a DT, not an ER.
Also, Buck seems to do better when he had Arik playing next to him. Right now he is plenty strong to break up most OLs, and then let Buck do his thing. Since i think he'll be around the rest of the yr, might as well use him. What i can't figure out is why on earth Saleh hasn't gotten someone to teach him what to do once he is thru the OL. He has mastered the hard part. Getting his bearings and then grabbing a QB now and then would be nice ....sometimes.

Gotta love how he saved the day by chasing Stafford out of the pocket and causing him to make an inaccurate throw which ended the lions day.

FWIW, Aldon played way better when he was getting loaded. Too bad it didn't work out.

Aldon would still have to go away for awhile. No way we sink to the depths that we sank in 2015 with Smith there.

I just hope Saleh or kyle can figure out a place to put AA where he does the most good and the least damage. We know he can bust thru the OL. Use that to the max. But don't put him on the outside.

Good call paso!
he has not been able to in a year and a half. what makes you think he will start now. or maybe aa just does not fit anywhere which begs the question why the f**k are they keeping him and saying you have to be pretty good to take his job
