I think that's fair even for PFF OL grades. Guys really stepped up and Kyle schemed like a mad scientist and Garoppolo had insane TTT. Plus his processing got better and better and better esp. after Sanders arrived.
But we've always known, excellent run blocking OL, poorer pass protection OL makes them middle of the road. Is it enough for a deep playoff run? Let's hope so!!!

For pass-protection purposes, the 49ers will be glad to have Joe Staley back for their postseason run. Staley allowed just seven pressures in 240 pass-blocking snaps this season for a pressure rate of 2.9% that trailed only Ronnie Stanley and Taylor Lewan at left tackle. His replacement, Justin Skule, allowed a 9.2% pressure rate (fourth worst at the position) despite Jimmy Garoppolo getting rid of the ball in less than 2.5 seconds on average with Skule in the lineup.
Garoppolo is among NFL leaders in YPA under pressure. The "he can't handle pressure" take is misinformed. First of all, the 49ers don't have a high pass-block win rate. Second, a big Garoppolo virtue is ability to hang in pocket. Many of his plus plays come as a result of that https://t.co/VBsr18tl16
