Hairline fibula fracture is a pretty easy recovery as far as fractures go. Should slide right in like he never left.

That's about right.
I think best-case scenario he'll miss four games and be back for the Panthers game. Worst-case he'll miss six and be back for the Monday Seattle game on November 11.

Honestly not that bad. I think most of us panicked he'd be gone for the season when the injury happened.

This is a dude that played with a broken face. He'll be back in 2 weeks...kidding...but you never knows with Joe.

Joe was on MM podcast the other day...I could be wrong but I think he said he dealt with the same injury like 10 yrs ago as well?

All it takes is a little leg whip to the side of your leg. I'm kind of surprised it doesn't happen more with all linemen.
I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back in 4-5 weeks
So Sam Young comes in and plays Swing Tackle and replaces Skule if Skule sucks?

Good move

Really, the best most obvious move they had available without making a trade.

Better than nothing. But I agree, I'd rather have this for now than a trade. Lets see how Skule does before trading for anybody. The trade deadline isn't for another month or two anyway.

He played quite well in PS. Young was cut in order to keep Brunskill. That should set the priority.

We'll see.... my take is that they kept Skule and Brunskill over Young because they have more long term potential. And young players like them are often very up and down. With Young, he might not be amazing, but I think he might be a more consistent player.

This is just my take... I could be wrong. But usually you're weighing high floor, low ceiling vets against low floor, high ceiling youngsters.
