Not sure if this was posted already, but what about trading for Eagles LT Vaitai? Candlestick Chronicles podcast went into some depth about him, sounds promising. Started during Eagles playoff run when Peters went down. Only 26,could play inside in the future. They won't get much for him as a comp pick so a 4th or 5th round pick should do it.

I hope we're keeping tabs on Billy Price from the Bengals. Not to replace Staley, just keeping tabs in general.
Had an injury interrupted rookie season but isn't an injury liability IMO. Has played centre/guard but better suited to guard.
A first round pick in 2018, but lost his starting spot week 1 and if he struggles to regain it there may be an opportunity in the off season if he's not in the Bengals plans.
Has more to work with than Tomlinson IMO.

I was higher on Tomlinson than Price coming out... But I think it's still a good call to keep tabs on him as we're gonna need guard help.

Only three offensive lines have allowed fewer than 10 pressures through the first two weeks of the NFL season: 49ers (9), Ravens (8), and Cowboys (6).

Myles Garrett vs our LT should be a big concern. Hopefully we still have a QB after that game.

It wouldn't just be Garrett vs Skule. He'll get a lot of double team action, chipping.....etc. Shanahan wouldn't leave a rookie tackle alone on an island against one of the best edges in football.

This, and maybe we just run it. 49ers did pretty good on the ground in the last game.

Worst case scenario our starting Left Tackle is already on the roster his name is Mike Mcglinchy we drafted him with a top 10 pick in 2018. I kno shanahan said "why change 2 positions instead of one blah blah blah" but if skule cant hold his weight we'll be changing 3 positions (qb) because he gon get jimmy hurt if he sucks. Mcglinchy is our best option at Left tackle til staley gets back IF skule cant hold decent protection (without gettin holding penalties) for at least 3 seconds. We gon have a lot of penalties ths game but kyle trusts skule so lets see how he does. Kyle will scheme quick plays.

That's honestly incredible given our interior quality of talent.
