I think this loss will light a fire under the is team's ass. Injuries aside, we've been playing lackadaisical on either offense OR defense each week since we bashed up GB. I suspect there will he a sense of urgency in this locker room, and the Rams and Seahawks will pay for it heavy come these next two weeks.

They were reportedly angry after yesterday's upset. That's a good sign for the sense of urgency take.

Imo the injuries to key starters and having to play back to back to back games against three top NFL teams, two on the road even, finally caught up with the team. That said, the team is still in prime position to retake the #1 seed.
Hard to find a silver lining here without sounding delusional. We just lost a HOME GAME, with huge implications, to a losing team that's just as beat up as we are. WTF

Where's the reality thread.
Goal is still right in front of us for the taking!

This is the same Atlanta team that beat the Saints, they actually whipped the Saints asses in the Superdome and we had to beat ourselves quite a bit. All those injuries on defense is a huge reason why Julio Jones went ballistic. All we needed was Sherman or just George Kittle not to fumble the ball out of bounds. Remember the Saints whipped Seattle at Seattle with Teddy Bridgewater so we're not too worried about them either

We made the playoffs and didnt suffer any more injuries. We still control our fate.
Falcons have just awoken a sleeping giant. Now let's get back to business.

Oh and we've made the playoffs, that's what matters most right now.

98% of the board probably didn't expect this record right now at the start of the season as well.

+1. Silver lining in three areas right here. Niners controlling their own fate...who wouldn't want that going into the last two games of the season? Bring on the challenge - this team can stack up well against any team in the NFL as it has shown!

Yeah, we should be full strength heading into the playoffs.
