Basically a player with 4 years of experience or more, and makes the week 1 53 man roster, there base salary is guaranteed for the season, meaning no cap space saved if cut after week 1.

The following players contracts will vest come week 1 if they make the 53-man roster for opening day.

Do the guaranteed week 1 money guys represent targets of opportunity as far as cuts/trades? e.g. Adam Snyder, Kassim Osgood. I would imagine we are more likely to hold onto a non-guaranteed money guy for the few spots on the 53 that are open temporarily (until injured or suspended guys come back)

swayze I can see that happening, we cut Osgood before week 1, and brought back week 2. Might see it again with some guys.
