I think you all are forgetting that Baalke is the man responsible for bringing in Harbaugh! We wouldn't have had all this success without Baalke. I'm sure he can find reputable replacement.

Ok i give him credit for those picks but if it comes down to him or Harbaugh leaving i pick Baalke every single time.

you'd pick baalke over harbaugh? I thought you were saying the opposite. I prefer harbaugh personally, because as great as I think baalke is, he only picks the players he doesn't get to mold them.
I meant it as i pick Baalke to leave. If it comes down to Harbaugh or Baalke leaving i pick Baalke (to leave)

Mike Shanahan!
Might not be a popular opinion, but if their relationship really is as toxic as has been reported, I say escort both of them out of here. They'll just cause drama with the next guy we bring in. We have no time for this b******t. Put your ego aside, work together to win a championship, or please GTFO.

These guys are two of the best in the biz at their respective positions. It is absolutely unnacceptable for them to jeopardize our chance to maintain a winning team because they don't personally like each other.

The more and more I'm reading about this story, the more I'm thinking the FO will have to make a decision on who they will keep.. There is some bad blood running in the FO and now is threading to corrupt the stability of our Niners. Jed will have to make a choice and bring this to a end,, I'm hoping and thinking after the draft....Of course it only makes sense to keep Harbaugh,, A GM IMHO are way easier to replace then trying to find a top quality coach ( see Dallas or Detroit, lots of talent poorly coached) But who really knows how much pride is involved and how deep that pride runs??

I don't know what to think about this. Been reading a lot of stuff lately. Don't know what is true and what is fake anymore as far as this situation is with Baalke and Harbaugh. But there has been reports that 49ers don't expect Harbaugh to be a 10 year tenure coach for them anyway. And that if he wants to leave, they won't beg Harbaugh to stay. If they didn't do it when the Dolphins was courting Jim back then, they aren't about to do it now. Also been reading that 49ers believe another coach can have the same success with this "built" team and that Harbaugh's not the only coach who can coach this team deep into the playoffs.

Don't know what to think of any of these stuff all over the sports news. I guess we'll all find out sooner or later when Harbaugh and 49ers meet up again for contract talks.

the only way our team takes the next step is if Kap takes the next step. The person best fit for the job of getting everything out of Kap is Harbaugh.
