I hope Rogers, Culliver, and Whitner go.

As much as I like Whitner (a lot), his penalties just ruin us (regardless if he's at fault or not) just like Goldston.

It would be hard to replace two DB's and a Saftey though..
where is that racist grammar fixer guy when you need him?
i hope we don't bring him back. culliver is a better corner and much cheaper. hopefully he can stay healthy.
How come in slow mo replays of him getting burned he's always smiling?
I just don't see him coming back ... Gets burned to frequently doesn't have makeup speed and we need someone a little more physical and sure tackler ...he wouldn't be able to keep up with slot guys such a Harvin, or Austin , I wouldn't even keep him for a pay cut..
Would ANY team do a trade for him? Just wondering.
I liked Rogers for the most part. He was a solid signing. He had some games where he got torched, but he was usually pretty solid. That's way too much to pay him though and his time is up. We should probably make a change.

I agree. He has lost a step and is not worth all that money.
Even at a discount i would not want him back he cant cover very well and hes old. Brock and Culliver i think are better Brown is still up in the air i rather just let him go and draft a CB

These. I'd keep him but at way less. Way less.

Maybe Dallas for Kyle Orton :)
Dunta Robinson got released by the Chiefs. He's 31. Carlos is 32. Nnamdi 32. Asante Samuel 33 released...

Carlos Rogers played the most defesnive snaps of any player on the 9ers. He played over 90% of the snaps.

Even at his salary, that is still well worth it for a player who contributes.
Wouldn't bring him back even at a discount. Just cut him. He won't get any better, trust me. Matter of fact, he'll likely only get worse from here on out. He already has poor ball skills, coverage skills, lacks elite vision, plus he's getting older meaning his athleticism and quickness will continue to erode and drop off. The dominance of our front 7 and pass rush is the only thing making him look halfway decent.
