Lacy going to be a nightmare for years to come, will be expensive when his contract due tho

Watched his final game at Alabama, clearly the dude was gonna be a beast in the NFL. Reminded me of Lynch.

Couldnt believe the rams didnt take him, but was relieved when they didnt.

Twice we got bailed out by division teams passing on legit rb's, cards passing on Peterson for LOL Levi brown and the rams passing on Lacy's fat ass

I'll credit them with almost cheating their way to a playoff win.
Lacy ain't really that good. He's fat and breaks some tackles, but he still doesn't average a whole lot of YPC.
They certainly made a game of it and could very easily won it. With that said, the refs helped their injured defense a lot by not calling by rules some of the holding that was going on at the line and in the secondary for both teams. They had a 2nd stringer covering Crabtree, without the holding he would have been toast several times. There was pushing and shoving on both Brock and the Packers receiver pushing off in the endzone on that TD.

It just makes the Packers defense better than what it is. And if the refs do the same for Seattle, I can't imagine how BS all that would be. Wasn't the current PI rule was put in place to curb the same mugging that was going on currently in the playoff -- because of Belicheck's New England mugging on the Rams in the Super Bowl some years ago....

Alabama running backs usually dont transition well to the NFL. See Trent Richardson.

He was a bit of a load to bring down towards the end of the game when we were getting a little tired but other than that Lacy didn't do much against our run defense. He was effective in keeping our defense honest regarding run and pass Packers offense.

Odd that people like you never notice what the 49ers get away with. It all comes out in the wash. With 7 people officiating 22 large and fast men there will be missed
calls. Please note the refs make the calls at game speed at field level, not watching slow motion replays on TV from various angles.

You guys are seriously reaching. He runs for a horrible run blocking team. I dont have the stats, but his yards after being touched is up there at the top of the league. s**t like 2/3 of his yards against us came after being touched. Hes a real solid RB. A lot of guys around here were never high on him going into the draft, and continue to carry the same opinion of him now. He had 1178 yards and 11 TD's in 15 GP and a 4.1 average in GB. Thats solid for a guy drafted 61st overall...

rogers can not mount a fourth quarter comeback to beat a good team to save his life

Yeah I agree. He is a tough tackle. Lacy is gonna be real good imo.

Agreed. Replace the Niners with the Giants, or any other team from the east coast and the refs will throw the flag. Pffftttt!!
