Ken Willard was the heart and soul of the 49ers in the late 60's. Scored 45 rushing touchdowns an 17 passing, made the pro-bowl in 65, 66, 68, 69. In 68 he rushed for 947 yards.

I actually liked Mike. It sucks he became a Hag, but what sucks even more is he integrated into that team and became a leader. Now he is like SuperHag.

Now this got me thinking about Rathman again. This guy was the most Hard Core Niner I can remember. He was nothing short of BAD ASS. I got to meet him while in the service and he was just the definition of MAN. This guy would have made this Niners squad even better and lay out some dudes. The guy is just my favorite football player ever.

Rathman the best of the bunch but didn't see him much was too young. If I had watched in the 80's no doubt it would have been Rathman. Even having watched the super bowls later on and other games loved the way he played. That being said I'd vote more on who I seen live so it would be William Floyd. Nothing against Beasley who was great but I just never liked him any more than any other player. Bruce Miller is probably 2nd behind Floyd. I wanted us to draft him but as a DE. He's just a good guy and easy to like. He is one of the better FB's in the league and we are developing him as a receiver plus he plays ST. He's one of our most important players. He's just a football player is how Harbaugh would put it.
