Tonight and next Sunday will determine whether or not catching them is even a possibility. Then we will need to worry about just making it into the playoffs.
Seattle will hit a mean bump in the road soon ...and that bump in the road will be Red & Gold

Seattle needs to lose at least 2 more but we can't count on that. We need Carolina to lose at least 2 more. Since they are ahaed of us, but looks like we are on the path to the #6 or #5 seed.
Stupid how a Detroit team would host a playoff game. I knwo they won their divison but that record is crap

In that case, hopefully we play them. I think we match up with Detroit pretty well, though Calvin Johnson is a monster. It'll be interesting to see if Philadelphia or Dallas ends up as a high seed than Detroit or Chicago. Still a lot of question marks, but I predict that Philadelphia will take the East, the Lions will probably take the North. Philadelphia is an unknown quantity at this point.

the s**thawks still have to play the saints, us, the giants who are playing well lately and the cardinals and rams who are tough and division games. I think if we take care of our side we may still take this division. if seattle loses tonight and we beat them next week we will send them into a nice slump going into some pretty physical and tough games.

We can still get the West and the seeded #2 if we win out AND Seattle loses to NO, SF AND AZ or Stl. If the third loss is to NYG and they beat AZ and Stl, we will tie, but Sea would win the West and be #2. That third loss has to be at the hands of either The Cards or Rams.
We are still in it though. Tonight is going to be fun to watch. Would like to see Brees carve up those two backup CBs, Maxwell and Lane, for dinner.
That NO OL needs to have their best game so far.

Pretty much have to win the division. A longshot but we must keep winning no matter if we get a road game or play at home

Long way to go. Lots of stuff can still happen. December games count. Don't count us out of a home playoff game just yet.

Saints will win today and we will beat Seattle next Sunday we only one game behind them. Its possible to win the division guys we have all tie breakers. Brees is going to exploit that cheating and suspended secondary with Jimmy G

Why would Seattle hold the tiebreaker if they lost to NO, SF, and NY but we would hold the tiebreaker if they lost to NO, SF, and AZ or STL?
...assuming we win out of course

Because division win-loss-tie percentage is evaluated prior to common opponents or conference. SEA would be 4-2 in the division, SF would be 5-1.

Too bad this didn't happen.
