Yes it is and no you can't. They can get yards in High School.
We need to draft two new replacement qb's next spring and say goodbye to these two.
Meantime, you guys continue overreacting and foaming at the mouth.

Great gifs. Anyway this isn't such a stupid question because we need to blow up our pass offense. It stinks, it doesn't work. The whole thing is epic fail. Everything. From the route trees to the talent to the skill coaching to the execution to the play selection. Sucks. Horrible results. Epically bad.
The carolina game was unusual because our oline got completely handled. They usually don't. So, that result was a little oddball.
But otherwise, all the problems states above are there and result in underperform against everyone.
Is it all on Kap? No. But we need an operational and philosophical change in scheme. The easiest way to do that is to game plan around a completely different skill set at Q.
Mccoys soft arm is suited to medium routes that we need to practice on the field. And his feet are a little quicker than Kaps at evading pressure in the pocket (he is not straightaway faster, we all know that.)
McCoy is not the answer at all because he is a turnover machine.
But the next time we go three and out 8x in a row, lets try something different for a quarter see how it goes. We're not going anywhere with the status quo. Are we?

NO!….but we should be looking at the draft this year, early to mid rounds for a back Qb, and back up plan incase Kaep can't get his head out of what ever hole it's in.

You're not crazy, you're an idiot. What makes you think McCoy or McBLT would be any better?

Can they pass for 10 yards a quarter? Because that's the break even point......

Or a Bay Area HOF quarterback. I saw this in the comment section of an article:
"October 2, 1994. Final score: Philadelpha 40, San Francisco 8. Here's Steve Young's box score as the Niners' QB: 11 for 23 passing, 99 yards, no TDs, 2 INTs. He added 5 yards rushing on 3 carries."

Like seriously, get off it. I'm disappointed in Kap too, I'm sure everybody is, but this is complete nonsense.
Is Kap at blame for his poor performance? YES!
But is he the total reason why our passing game is in the gutter? Heck no. This is just as much of a design and scheme issue. Doesn't matter who you have back there, but we have the most unsophisticated passing schemes in the entire league, s**t is barely college level.
I'm not ready to give up on Kap just yet. We'll draft a solid quarterback behind him so hopefully that will light a fire under him and provide for some is durance in case Kap really can't get it together next year.
But I have given up on a few of the coaches and coordinators. I wish for nothing more but a philosophical change and breath of fresh air next year. Roman and Chryst can kick rocks if they cannot design a competent NFL level passing game and Morton can too since he has yet to show he can actually develop receivers. If they can't do it, Baalke needs to have a list prepared of people that can.
