This, i refuse to discredit carolinas defense. We all knew they where good. Our defense played great! We held carolina to 10 at home at the stick. Do that and odds in our favor. So what happened? Complacentcy, loss of momentum from the bye wk. We loss to a team that knew if they beat us, it put them on the map. They did just that. Come sunday, i would hate to face the niners....... We are to talented of a team. Aldon will def get more reps vs brees n co! May see a mixture of brooks n lemoneir as well.
Hopefully vd, reid will be back and healthy from concussions.
Hate to say it but this loss may have just very well been a blessing in disguise. Get us back to hungry and focused on every phase, coachs all the way down to the water boy!!!

TEN with no Locker, JAX is terrible, Philly is 0-4 at home, Colts got trashed by STL.
That's 4 games right there that are winnable (5 actually with STL). Not sure how you discount them at this point. If SF loses in NO and AZ wins against JAX, doesn't that put you guys at 6-4, tied for 2nd in the division (but having the tie breaker advantage)? I think it's about 100X more likely that SF finishes with a better record but it is what it is.
Carolina has a rough schedule as well so as I said before, SF is still in control of their own fate.
I agree 100%
From here on out our players will show us wether we want to be part of the post season or not.
We control our fate. Mario will be knocking some much needed rust off, vd hopefully healthy from concussion, boldin, we have the players. Coachs have to use our players the way we did in playoff run. We have been conservative at times, as well as turning from what has been working.
Seasons far far from over!
Saints here we come

True, and it's probably going to happen again against the Saints.

But not worried at all because I believe the team will bounce back and bounce back strong. This locker room is soo strong and full of great leaders that a loss won't break them but instead makes them stronger. Gooo Niners!!
I feel ya, all that waiting just to be disappointed...
Kaps reading his "negative" twitter comments and using it for motivation, again... another winning spree coming up
I'm sorry I just don't get the bolded, Reading blogs and fan comments just motivates me to slap my GF and then drink another beer.

Stop.
When healthy this is arguably the best team in ball. It's not an excuse it's a fact we are a depleted team on both sides of the ball. Kaep is not a veteran he's in his sophomore year experience wise he can't make ordinary receivers good he's still learning the NFL game. Imo the coaching staff is not putting him in a position for him to be productive, they got him throwing when Gore should be running, no screen plays, no roll out plays, no passing to the RB. With all the aggressive play from the Panthers dl line we had no draw plays. I am proud of this team to have come so far with so little so the team is playing good it's the coaches that needs to get it 2gether
Think about it when at full strength we are better than every team we faced

Kaep should have better things to do than read Twitter comments.

You have to know there's a lot of soul searching w/the coaches. They saw what we saw. EPIC FAIL on offense and SUPERB Defense.
They have to know the offense lost the game. NOT Kap or any one player. Everything from the game plan, execution, performance, adjustments - it was a total fail!
The running game worked BUT this game proves that we need more than just a running game. The NFL is way too good to be one dimensional. We have to become a complete offense.
Too many zoners [IMO] think Crabs is going to come in and everything will be ok. It won't! Our problems are much deeper than one guy.
It starts w/JH - either he adapts or he fails. Then Roman [I hope he moves on after the season] must get better or get lost.
Our backs are against the wall and this is what real champions are all about. We have to come into next weeks game a very lean, mean fighting machine.
This will be a character game. A game that will show our true character and set the tone for the remainder of the season.
GO NINERS!

while i did not check with dr brackett and dr early at rampart before i posted this,, our health sunday was the same and even better with mario and aldon back as what it was when we beat five bad teams. I know injuries are a nice excuse to use but we beat five bad teams with a "depleted team:. the bottom line is that we are not good vs good teams, we have been exposed time and time again and the fact it keeps happening when we play good teams shows me the coaches have no clue how to fix things vs good teams.

For me, when it comes down to it, I don't care what happens overall during the regular season as long as we are healthy and make the playoffs. Yes, Seattle will likely win the division and have HFA through the playoffs, but that is not set in stone. Until that happens, I will remain hopeful that this division is within our grasp. If we don't get it, I am confident that a healthy Niner team can beat anyone on the road outside of the Hags. I'm not saying it can't be done, I am just saying that I am not confident that the Niners can pull off a playoff win in Seattle, but that it could be done in any other venue if we are healthy.
The problems we are seeing are fixable, not everyone has a defense like Carolina or one that really presents a problem for us. This team could still finish 13-3 and have the entire Enchilada. A couple of tough games coming up, but they are WINNABLE. Whatever happens, my ultimate goal is to see the Niners in the Super Bowl again, with a win this time. As long as we make the playoffs, the Niners have a chance of getting that win.

Yes, agreed. This season does seem to be blighted by injuries, though.
Still, one week at a time

i am sorry but we had injuries when we won five games in a row. sure injuries hurt sunday but i go back to , if our offense is so god damn dependent on one player in vernon, then the coaches should be tarred and feathered for letting that happen. no one said squat about our walking wounded when we won five in a row and now we lost another game to another good team with a winning record we start hearing about all our injuries. sorry not an excuse to me

new here, but a long time lurker...glad to be here! there is a lot of "panic" going on around here. lets just remember j. harbaugh is one hell of a coach and he will get the ship right. last season many got on him for starting kap over smith, and last i checked that worked out pretty good for us. sure we've had struggles on O, IT HAPPENS. lets get a healthy crabs, davis, manningham, boldin, hunter, gore all out there as playmakers for kap to throw to before we start writing him off. have faith fellas we are far from done! and to say we will in no way be able to win the super bowl this year is just ridiculous. BEAT THE SAINTS!

we have lost three games to three good teams with winning records. the same things that got us beat in loss one got us beat in game two and the same things that got us beat in game two got us beat in game three. when the same things keep happening and are not fixed, that is all on the coaches, when you p***y out and do not try for it on fourth and goal from the one, that is all on your coaches going into a fetal position and telling your team they are not good enough to get one yard. no offense to the bathwater drinkers of JH but to give him and roman a pass on all this and blame it on injuries is so unrealistic
