What is the real problem with this offensive offense?

A lot of problems with the offense today. Kap played like s**t, playcalling was s**t, pass protection was s**t.

Injuries to Vernon and Celek left us with 1 healthy TE. There goes our multi-TE offense. We had Adam Snyder playing as the "move" TE all 2nd half.

Funny how these same things happen every time we play a winning team. Green Bay is the only above .500 team we have beaten this year and soon, they too will be below .500. Of those games we lost to winning teams, TWICE we got punked at our own house. That tells me that even if by some miracle Seattle goes on a losing streak and we can get home field, we shall again get punked at our own house.
It drives me nuts that the niners don't have quicker hitting plays and the West coast would use the Running back as a receiver.

Roman doesn't do this. And I'm not sure why he doesn't, because Colin would benefit from it. He has him running deeper plays. I think they need to do more play action deep passes like the steelers used to do.

I do feel when Colin gets pressured he's not as good of a quarterback but who is? Russell Wilson is much better at avoiding the rush and making plays downfield.

Other factors for this game....Not having Vernon kills us because he does so much for the offense. He got hurt in the colts game and we weren't the same. But it's no excuse for not being able to manufacture offense.

OVERALL THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THAT the Niners have no Rhythm to their offense. The other great teams in the league do I think it's because Roman is always scheming the other team and trying different things. QUICKER OFFENSE AND USING MORE OF OUR WEAPONS WOULD HELP US A LOT.

And yes for sure, we were spoiled by Bill Walsh. The Niners still have a lot of games to play and if we got a wildcard we can do damage. We can keep getting better and learn from this game.

Bolded and underlined. There is no rhythm to this offense at all, its so random, like they are tossing spaghetti at the wall. Watch any quality offense in the NFL and there is a flow to it, its undeniable, when they get rolling, you know s**t just got real. 49ers have done that a few times on some long drives against the Cardinals and Rams for example, but not often enough and especially against better defenses where it feels as if the coaches just psyche themselves out and completely get away from what has been working.

To be fair, Kuechly made a hell of a defensive play there, if he hadn't gotten his arm in there and grabbed McDonald, that could have very well been a TD and lights out for the Panthers. That pass was absurdly well-thrown, nobody could have done it any better than that.

it hit vance right in the hands before the defender got in there. vance should have had that one i think. its really nothing out of the ordinary, he drops s**t every week

So was the dude flat out lying or does he even know what the west coast offense is? That abomination he put on the field today doesn't resemble WCO on its best day and I am offended that they could be mentioned in the same breath. Don't paint your Ford Escort red and try telling me it's a Ferrari, dude.

LOL thought about it last year
WCO my ass....

I can't recall the last time that Kaep scrambled and had someone break off their route and come back for a first down reception. Cam had that luxury a couple of times tonight and that's all you need to extend that drive or kill off that D.

It seems we all see the same
No we're not frustated immature pricks we just open our eyes and all see the same s**t coming from the booth

People find it easier to slam on Kaepernick. Put any QB in this offense, they'll do drastically worse than the offense they came from, it's a b******t college offense that is predictable as hell. In their rush to "protect" Kaepernick, they're actually screwing him up with these BS schemes. Meanwhile up in Seattle, the coaching staff basically allows Russell Wilson to go #YOLO, play backyard football and it has worked out nicely for them.

The problem is Harbaugh and the offensive coaches. They had two weeks to come up with an offensive gameplan and they failed miserably. Two full fuccing weeks, SMFH!!

Problem is the bye week gave Roman more time to dream of potato.

No kidding. I was really looking forward to this game after having to wait 2 full weeks and this is the crap we got !! Just highly disappointing to say the least !!

A question I'm starting to wonder about more and more with this offense and its complexity: When Kap comes to the line with two plays called...could defenses be "trapping" Kap/the Niners by intentionally giving them one bogus look initially and thus baiting Kap into changing the play? I just wonder if this could be causing Kap to overthink his calls at the line (by killing the original play call based on the D baiting him) and thus, putting the team into a formation/play call that is more predictable for the defense? Part of the reason I wonder this is because Kap is still gaining experience in running the team as an NFL QB...game management, clock management, etc. This plus the in-depth playbook...well-coached teams could be doing what they can to try and take advantage of this and confuse him with bogus looks, etc. Just a thought.
