But then you'd have to wait 8 years instead of 14 games...
Very very encouraging...and it's the ROOKIE making the defensive calls, recognitions, communications, etc. Next year if we get a top-pick rookie, I don't fear as much given Reid will be there training him after 2 full off seasons and a full season in the NFL.

excellent article on Eric Reid's impact on the 49ers secondary.

I was so upset when we let Dashon walk but Reid has been an instant upgrade. The most impressive thing about his fast start is that he's playing at a pro bowl level against top notch competition (four different 2012 playoff teams)

Just goes to prove that talent doesn't need excuses...it will shine regardless. He played just five games! ....and seems to have all the necc qualities to become a great player at that position.

Reid pretty much deserves an assist on that Pick Six by Brock.

Reid obviously is a heavy film watcher, he knew exactly what was coming.

I was baffled why the Bucs would give Goldson 7 mil a year. If you're a crappy team, why commit so much of your cap space towards a free safety? Goldson is a great hitter, good in run support, his coverage skills are average, but it's dumb to pay a FS that much.

Great read.

And, he isn't causing bonehead penalties to keep drives alive.

Looks like they should've invested it in a real QB instead....heh.

the biggest thing of all in my opinion , the other one had to have been the leader in drive extending penalties for the other team.

Glennon has actually played pretty well against the Eagles today, their issue has been the defense getting lit up everywhere.
