Yeah, Id rather wait on McCoy to figure it out. I'm pretty sure he can be a decent backup if he learns the playbook. Wallace? Really? C'mon now...

I think Harbaugh is intrigued by his athleticism and believes he can be a quick turnaround project?! who knows.

I'm beginning to think, between trying out 15 freaking receivers to this, that Harbaugh just sees no harm in trying out anyone and everyone if there's a need. You never know when you might find the next Kurt Warner stocking shelves at a grocery store. If they don't work out, so be it.

for anyone who praises McCoy or feels he could work out.. have any of you watched him play in Cleveland? in our preseason games?
and these same people or others who bash Wallace, have any of you watch him in Seattle and Cleveland? I'm not saying he is real good, but when compared to Colt he is real good imo.
McCoy looks spooked out there... I can't believe some want to take the chance of having him as our backup.
check out both Colt and Wallace's stats. Wallace has experience coming off the bench. Colt has been given the Alex treatment and has been handed the starting job since being drafted. How is he going to react if he is called off the bench.
this is like when some of yall wanted David Carr over Shaun Hill, just because of potential and not Vet experience.

Give it up, Wallace sucks, there's a reason he was outta the league last year and no one wanted him. He couldn't even make it outta the Preseason with the Saints.

Wallace is worthless, dude has been passed around the NFL like a peace pipe, considering hes already 33, im far more interested in what the 49ers could do with a guy like McCoy who already passed up Wallace once in Cleveland. Wallace has started 21 games in the NFL, the same as McCoy, except that is his total over basically a whole decade. If this dude had potential to do much beyond holding a clipboard, hed be on a roster already. Im interested in McCoy's upside, have no interest in seeing Wallace be over the hill.

and what the hell is Colt McCoy? do you see Colt lasting in this league for 8 years? Heck we are already looking to replace him as a backup. How many more chances do you think he is going to get?

The Wallace story sounds like free advertising for a legitimate confident backup quarterback needed, with experience.

Answer: A better QB, not old as f**k, actually managed to be on an NFL roster last season, outplayed Wallacevin Cleveland.
Are you related to Seneca Wallace? Are you Seneca Wallace? Because ive never seen someone go all out for a garbage player that the NFL has passed around over and over.

and here is the 9erwebzone in a nutshell...lol dude has played for 2 teams in his career. Seattle and Cleveland. Not including this season with the Saints.
and you want Colt's upside? when's the last time we kept/were stubborn enough to keep someone for their "upside". oh that's right.

you keep saying the same thing talking out of your arse. NFL has passed around over and over?..lololol.
no I'm not related to him... I just have no faith in McCoy, and if I had a choice I'd rather have Wallace who I have actually seen play.

like I said earlier.
I'd prefer T. Jackson/Grossman and other vets who have actually won games in this league.
if we can't get them, then I'd rather have an experienced backup like Wallace.
