Not only do we have the NFC champ target on our back, but all off season these guys have paid particular attention to us. The coaching trips to colleges that defend the read option, signing a mobile QB like Vince Young for the defense to practice against in preseason, signing Tolzien, etc. We're going to get their absolute best shot tomorrow and its not like they're a bad team. I feel like I'm giving them a better chance of winning than any of the Pack fans I know.

It's more than just worrying about the 49ers. GB is spending a lot of time with the read-option because they want to incorporate it into their offense as much as learning how to stop it. They don't want to fall behind the rest of the league. I won't be surprised to see Rodgers run a few read-options plays.

That's a mistake of not spending time how to stop it.

Capers's ass is on the hot seat and he cannot afford another humiliation like this.

biggest thing to watch for is the performance of ian williams.

isnt this his first time playing in regular season? I think its his first start at least.

And I won't be surprised to see Ahmad and Aldon crush him

Oh, Rodgers will get crushed in more than ways than that. My only point is that GB didn't focus the entire offseason on stopping the 49ers.

Of course they didn't spend the entire off season focusing on stopping us. The read option is spreading around the league and we were just one team using it. But Kap's record setting performance against them obviously has something to do with the level of focus they gave it. We opened against them last year and they weren't poaching our cast offs to get a better understanding of our offense at this point last year. Like I said, they paid particular attention to us this off season.

Anonymous Reporter: So, Mr. ND, how's the retirement going... what have you been doing lately?

ND: Ah, well.....you know.... a lil bit of this n a lil bit of that. For str8t cash, I be selling me some Kirbys n $h!t, ya know!

AR: Kirbys?

ND: Yeah u know, them vacuums, they like the Harley Davidsons of vacuums n $h!t, nah me sayin?

AR: Ah, yea yea yea right right... anyways, what do you think about this epic game coming up between the SF 49ers and the team that drafted you, GB Packers?

ND: NO1CURR... I mean, if I was in there, they would have a better chance to win it, but since I'm not, it will be an epic fail on their part!

AR: So, in other words, you don't really give a $h!t....

ND: Uuuuuuhhh, is that a trick question!? http://www.shortnews.com/start.cfm?id=23346
"Obituaries for the 49ers' 2013 opponents-
One-dimensional doesn't even begin to describe the Packers. Green Bay hasn't had a 1,000-yard rusher since Ryan Grant and they don't seem to care. They're content with throwing on first, second and third down. The plan seems to work despite their offensive line being awful, their defense being made out of cheese cloth and their only saving grace being Aaron Rodgers.

This isn't a knock on Rodgers — he's so good he makes James Jones a top wide receiver in most fantasy football leagues — but they're going to need more improvements than a running back with an affinity for calories and Eric Bakhtiari's little brother to expect an outcome different from the bludgeoning at Candlestick Park last January. Rodgers was the NFL's most sacked quarterback in 2012, and that's pretty sad if you consider his adjacency to Jay Cutler.

By the way, Clay Matthews should probably learn from Rodgers's mistake and stop talking"

T'was the night before football
And all through my place...
I'm all in with my Kings!
That sumb***h flopped an ace!!
My jersey lay out
On the back of my couch...
I hope come tomorrow…
Colin Kaepernick, he's no slouch!
The Cheeseheads visit San Fran
In the city by the Bay
The Pack getting the best of us?
I think not! No friggin way!
The defense were nestled, all snug in their beds
While visions of pick-sixes danced in their heads.
Green Bay arrives, getting off of the team bus...
In the distance a man can be heard yelling, "Who's got it better than us?"
"Nobody!" Cries the home team, pounding the locker room floor...
Green Bays ready for the Read Offense, better give it to Gore!!
He slashes, he dashes, we keep scoring with ease!
Our defense dominates, grating that cheese!!

Fifth career game. The Packers will go three wide on most of their plays, so Williams is only going to see action on short yardage, goaline, and the occasion early down. I'll be watching Asomugha.

All I know is, this is an important game in terms of divisional momentum. The Seattle Stinkhawks should beat the Carolina Panthers convincingly. I don't want to start out the season one game down in our division. Not to mention, living in Seattle, I don't want to hear it from all these loud mouth Stinkhawks fans!

i dunno man, carolina has a good front seven so if they can pressure the midget they might have a chance. their offense woke up the last half of the year too

10am game brah.
