1. Will Vernon have 1000 yards this season lining up at TE and WR and having Kaep and his cannon arm throwing the ball?

2. When was the last 1000 yard season for a TE?

Probably going to edit this with all the 1000yd TEs in history when I find it, unless someone beats me to it.

Absolutely, with bulk of yrds coming from WR position, both slot and split out.

Gronk has the record with 1327 in 2011

I think Davis breaks it this year. (with an *, as both a TE and WR)

Vernon's success at WR is going to be heavily dependent upon how well the rook can fill in at TE. If no one's really ready for that fulltime spot, that slides Vernon there on more snaps.

He's already had a 965 yard season, so it's no stretch to think he'll get 1K even if he's strictly TE.

Given only him and one other player (maybe two if you count Vance) can actually catch, I'm sure he'll have an excellent opportunity.

Agreed. i think he will be our main receiving threat this year. If he is gonna break 1k, this is the year to do it.

He has the QB now to do it. I know Alex had that chemistry with VD but Kap is a bit more fearless and will take more risk to get him the pill

He has a real chance to do it this year. Kaep will not be able to ignore him this season. There is nobody else to throw to.

short memory dude, gore led the team in receptions one year and was near the top for a few years. theres nothing wrong with gores hands
