AJ Jenkins gets cut and doesn't make the roster.
I'll take that bet.

Jenkins will have a short leash. If he shows something in preseason (which i think he will) then he'll be the #3 or #4 WR. I personally thin KW is a goner.
I don't know man. Kyle williams is our only experinced nfl return man.
Perish Cox says hi, also LaMichael James worked on PR all year last year and will probably be given a chance to do so again.
Cox and James have mostly college experience as return men. Kyle Williams is a proven solid return man (when not in clutch situations). This is why he has much value to the team.

KW / Hunter / LMJ will share the KR/PR duties. If they can get Hunter/LMJ to do it, they may be able to cut Williams. But at this point, Williams is the favorite at returner.
Yup Williams is easily the front runner right now.

Who was AJ Jenkins supposed to beat out as a Rookie? Was it Rand Moss (HOF), Crabtree (Our No.1), Manningham (clutch and proven vet)? Balkee knew AJ was raw coming out of college. I think the guy will be fine.

I don't think the team is even close to giving up on Jenkins. Make no mistake though, if Patton outperforms Jenkins in TC and pre-season, Patton will pass him on the depth chart.

Not a bold prediction:
Whomever catches Kap passes the best (fast balls baby - not taking the heat off). Crabtree could catch everything he could throw. He then was targeted more and led to the "meteoric rise" of Crabs.
Delanie couldn't handle them ...dropped a ton and he is where now?

Patton has better hands? What are you basing this analysis on?
In fact, AJ's hands are just fine. Remember, he was called E.T. in high school because he has giant mits. He did drop the only pass thrown his way in the pros, but that was because of nerves. AJ's a smooth athlete, with great deep speed and good natural hands. Let's hope he's conditioned himself to be stronger. The added strength should boost his confidence this season.
As for Patton, I'm not exactly sure why players like him slip in the draft. At the Senior Bowl, he showed off his receiving talents, determination and overall love for the game. He had a productive career in 2 years of college and reminds people of Reggie Wayne. The knock on him is absence of elite speed, lack of strength and inability to make tough catches. But I think this guy is a gamer, who loves to compete and who should make a strong push for playing time this season.

Not sure where you got this inability to make tough catches from but he made some ridiculous circus catches that left guys like Johntyan Banks and DJ Hayden simply shaking their heads, he came up huge in the clutch, his biggest issue was dealing with jams at the line and needing to add strength when going up against more physical cornerbacks. Hands wise, Patton is golden...3 drops out of 150+ targets is ridiculous.
