I've got the 49ers going 14-2, and undefeated at home on the Candlestick Park farewell tour. This year is the culmination of years' worth of development for both the 49ers veteran players, as well as this coaching staff. The aggressive, but very smart moves made by the front office this off-season speak volumes about how serious the team is about not only winning it all this year, but for many seasons to come.

The 49ers handle business from start to finish in a season that may rival the 1989 squad in utter dominance. Like that '89 team, this year will feature a prominently pesky division rival posing the greatest obstacle to the final objective...but in the end, they just get rolled like the rest.

49ers take it all the way to Jersey for number six. But.....this is only the beginning.
