Best 49ers draft pick in the last 20 years?

I was talking with a friend of mine who was asking how much longer I thought Frank had left in the tank and I said probably 2-3 years. Then I started thinking about how great he has been for us and that he was a 3rd round pick. In my opinion, he's been our best draft pick (based off results, not potential) in the last 20 years. Agree or disagree?

Based on what? Frank was a 3rd round pick who has had an amazing career.
I would say Willis is one of our best picks but was expected to be great. Bowman was another great pick of ours in the latter rounds.
Bryant Young was another great pick albeit from an early 1st round pick.
I think some may argue TO was our best pick but not all his damage was done for the 9ers, in addition he was an obvious headcase.
Based on pure performance for the 9ers, draft round is irrelevant I would say:
Willis
Young
Gore
TO
If we base it on what round they were selected and value we got:
Gore
TO
Willis
Young

I meant to say that the round in which they were taken is factored in. So basically round + production. I think it's tough to beat Gore in that regard.

I wouldn't be upset about that. But as of today, I think it's Gore. Obviously I think Willis has done an exceptional job but he was taken 11th so, as another poster already said, he was expected to be great.

Just looking at the current team you have to consider Boone. He was free and is playing pretty good.

Since 1992? Gore wins hands down. All time? Joe at end of third round.
I think if we look at both the good AND the bad, TO would not have a chance.

Gore
T.O.
Bowman
Kaepernick (anticipating him turning out to be what most think he will)
Andy Lee
Based on draft position and career to date. Threw Andy Lee in there b/c of his value to our ST unit.
