Impressive list!

Montana IMO. I became a fan in '76 and watching the turn-around was great.

As a kid living in NYC I remember YA Tittle - he was a VERY good QB and as tough as nails.
Chris Weinke - no contest.

I go back to Brodie. I picked Young because he was exciting to watch, very athletic and quick on his feet.

he and gene washington had some good chemistry. pretty damn good tight end in ted kwalik. and pretty good one two punch in the backfield with ken willard and vic washington
Steve will always be my favorite football player.

How is this even a thread, worse yet, how is not 100% Joe Montana?

This lol

The choices should be:
1) Joe Montana
2) College Joe Montana
3) Midget Joe Montana
4) Just Joe Montana's head

Because even Joe Montana severed head is better than all the rest!

Headless Joe?

if old timers knew how to use the internet i'm sure the voting would be very different; Joe would be winning by a landslide; I love the 49ers and since Joe brought us 4 of them I'll always like him for that; but I grew up watching Young 2 Rice; still have respect for the 80's though

Still wondering where all those Smith and Kaepernick fans are at that praised him in the single game performance thread.
